Rad.FM vs Spotify DJ vs Apple Music
Rad.FM is the AI DJ for Apple Music. Spotify DJ is a Spotify Premium feature and does not work with Apple Music. Apple Music has presenters on its own stations, but nobody talking on yours. Which one suits you depends mostly on where your library already lives.
The short answer
If your music lives in Apple Music, Rad.FM is the only one of the three with a DJ who talks on your own station. Apple has presenters on Apple Music 1, but nobody on your personal station. Spotify DJ cannot play your Apple Music library at all.
If your music lives in Spotify, use Spotify DJ. It is included with Premium, it works well, and it covers more than 75 markets and six languages.
If you want no talking at all, Apple Music’s personal stations are the better fit. A DJ you have to mute is worse than no DJ.

Where Rad.FM is genuinely different
A dislike removes, it does not just discourage
Spotify has “Don’t play this artist” and Apple has “Suggest Less Like This”. So this is a difference of degree, not a feature only Rad has. Rad takes disliked artists and songs out of the pool before he picks, rather than weighting them down afterwards.
He will not replay your week at you
Rad also drops anything you played recently, and anything already waiting in your queue. Repeating itself is the most common complaint aimed at AI DJs, so he removes those songs before he starts.
The hour is put in order, not shuffled
Rad puts what is left in order by energy, mood and tempo, the way a radio station builds an hour. When two songs fit equally well, he prefers the one whose key suits the song before it.

Apple Music and Spotify are both vastly larger products with support teams and years of tuning behind them. Rad.FM is a small beta, and it is free while that is true.
